Can you believe it is Summer 2021! Last year I had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico to visit family and it definitely didn't feel like a vacation because of all of the restrictions and mask mandates compared to our recent vacation in Kauai, Hawaii. We had the opportunity to visit the island with great friends, celebrate a birthday, and relax by the pool and beach. Getting to Hawaii wasn't easy but it was worth it! All of the islands have different COVID test requirements and so I suggest that you check out this site for safe travel guidelines and requirements. Because we traveled in June, we had to get a COVID test 72 hours prior to our flight. We decided to get a rapid COVID test here. We didn't get tested at the airport because tests at the airport aren't covered by health insurance.
