Introducing STYLEMATIC...Your Pocket Stylist for women and men!

Have you ever felt like getting style recommendations from an app based on your style preferences was kind of like a hoax? I have felt like that for a long time until I discovered Stylematic! I had the honor and pleasure of meeting with the Creative Director, Bernadette Bohan and Co-Founder and CEO, Karen Song on Friday for a quick rundown about the app, the team, and company and I can't wait to share it with you!

First of all…Our meeting took place in the Mission (San Francisco) at this amazing artistic space where I just wanted to immediately start taking pictures of everything and wanted to play dress up! Picture a cool warehouse space when you first walk in with awesome artwork all around, guitars, party lights, a swing, and then in the back, your loft! It just felt like being in a studio and a home at the same time.  I have never experienced that before.

When I heard about what Stylematic was doing in the fashion and tech space, I really wanted the 411.  Stylematic was founded 10 months ago.  It is an app and a website where you enter your style preferences and it searches for the exact pieces at your favorite stores to then deliver a precise style recommendation feed to you.  Stylematic also helps you express your personal style by allowing you to be a part of their community.  You can snap pictures and scan the barcode of products you love to then share with everyone on Stylematic.  You can also vote on items you love and ask stylists questions in real time!

Stylematic is on the mission of building a supportive fashion community that will give you fashion advice not just from their stylists but also from your friends on the app as well as other Stylematics! How amazing is that?! And don't forget…it is available for both women and men.
