NY Fashion Week Recap

It is with mixed emotions that we say farewell to Mercedes Benz Spring 2013 Fashion Week! It was a blast while it lasted.  I didn't get to go to Lincoln Center this time around because my full time job consumed me last week, given that it is 4th quarter.  I got to attend Fashion's Night Out and I have been sharing my pics from that night via instagram (keilysfashionpicks).

This week I received media passes to attend Couture Fashion Shows at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC.  You will be seeing some of that soon.  Please check out this Vogue video for a Fashion Week recap Vogue video.  My favorite 2013 Spring collections were Marchesa's, Diave Von Furstenberg's, J. Mendel and Marc Jacobs.  They were full of prints, metallics and romanticism! Marchesa's collection really stood out to me because some of the pieces had an Indian Sari touch to them and this year I will be going to India for a friend's wedding! I wish I could wear a Marchesa inspired Sari!
